Minimalism Art Competition
Ten Moir Gallery is thrilled to announce submissions into the “Minimalism” art competition are open. The art of minimalism invites us to strip away the unnecessary, focusing on essential elements and creating a sense of balance, harmony, and purity. We invite you to immerse yourself in this aesthetic and let your artistic expressions speak volumes through the power of minimalism. Open to artists from all backgrounds, mediums, and locations. Whether you specialize in painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media or any other form of visual art, we welcome your submissions. The competition promises not only exposure but also a chance to win our Best in Show award. Please note that all participants must be at least 18 years of age.

Theme Details:
The theme of this competition revolves around patterns and textures. We invite artists to explore this theme through their unique artistic lens, whether it be through representational or abstract approaches. Let your creativity flourish as you interpret and convey the richness, complexity, and beauty that patterns and textures offer.
Eligibility
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- All submissions must be original creations of the participating artists.
- The competition is open to artists from around the world.
- Any artwork containing explicit or offensive content, hate speech, or infringing on the rights of others will be disqualified.

Fees
Early Bird: $20 for 3 submissions until September 9, 2023
Regular: $25 for 3 submissions
Artists may enter the competition more than once if they have more artwork they want to be considered.
Artists are encouraged to enter the maximum number of images allowable for the entry fee.

Depending on the number and quality of all submissions received, Honorable Mention awards may also be given.
Video slideshows of the group exhibition will be created and available on the website and Ten Moir Gallery’s YouTube channel.
Links to the artist’s website will be listed on the exhibition page resulting in increased traffic to the artist’s website.
All inquiries from potential buyers who see the artwork on the Ten Moir Gallery’s website will be directed to the artist.
How to Enter?
Review the Guidelines: Take a moment to carefully read and understand the competition guidelines.
Capture High-Quality Images: Make sure to capture high-resolution images that accurately represent your piece. Clear and well-lit photographs will help showcase your artwork in the best possible way.
Complete the Submission Form: Fill in the required information, including your name, contact details, and a brief description of your artwork. Be sure to provide accurate information to facilitate communication throughout the competition.
Upload Your Artwork: Using the provided upload feature, attach your high-quality image file(s) of the artwork. Double-check that the files are properly attached before finalizing your submission.
- Entry Fee (if applicable): Follow the instructions provided for payment. Ensure that you complete this step to complete your entry process.
- Submission Confirmation: After successfully submitting your artwork and completing the necessary steps, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your entry. This email will serve as a confirmation of your participation in the competition.

Copyright and Competition Terms
- By entering the competition, artists acknowledge that they are the sole creators and owners of the submitted artworks, and they hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the use of their artwork in the competition and related promotional activities. Copyright ownership of the artworks remains with the artist at all times.
- Artists may submit multiple entries, but each entry must be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee, if applicable.
- The competition organizers reserve the right to disqualify any artwork that violates intellectual property rights, contains explicit or offensive content, or does not adhere to the specified guidelines.
- The judging process will be conducted anonymously, and the decisions of the judges will be final and binding.
- Selected artworks will be featured in the online exhibition or any associated promotional materials, both online and offline, with proper attribution to the artists.
- Cash prizes or other awards will be distributed as specified, and winners may be required to provide additional information, such as payment details, for prize disbursement.
- The competition organizers may use the submitted contact information to communicate with artists regarding the competition, related events, and future opportunities, but they will not share this information with third parties without explicit consent.
