Living in Minnesota, we have so much beauty right in our backyards or within driving distance and much of the scenery includes water. It’s hard not to take a scenic image here that doesn’t have a lake, river, or pond as a central part of it. While not all of my paintings have had water in them and not all of my paintings are Minnesota images; most of my work is from Minnesota and does include water. Being a watercolor artist, water is always a part of my work no matter if it is depicted in the images or not.

For this reason; it is only natural to adopt the theme Water-Colors by Rick as the theme by which to identify what I do in painting. My ultimate goal is to better represent the magnificent creation all around us, and moreover… its magnificent creator.

Luciano Bujeiro Rojo, a Spanish artist of immeasurable talent, has carved out a prominent place for himself in the art world thanks to his unique mastery of graphite and charcoal.
Every pencil stroke, every finely sketched line, reveals an extraordinary technique that transforms the simplicity of the tools into an explosion of captivating details. Black and white merge under a skilled hand to create visual compositions as rich as they are complex.
He is intrinsically drawn to faces, expressions, and gazes. His works are windows to the human soul, capturing intimate and revealing moments. Each painting seems to tell a story, evoke deep emotions, and transport the viewer to a world where beauty is found in the details.
At the heart of his art lies a clear intention: to provoke feelings and emotions. Each of his works is a sensorial experience, an invitation to feel and explore the complex palette of human emotions. His creations transcend paper to become emotional portals that invite the audience to immerse themselves in a world of sensations.
