Artist Statement

“Selfie on New Year’s Eve” is the digital vision of me in the future, created on a New Year’s Eve. The reference photo is this year’s selfie with my cell phone, but I set the light so that it could be a historical shot. So this portrait is also like a magical play with different times, in which, at second glance, elements of digital generation are also visible, making the photo a present visual experience.
