I was born and live in the city of Chalkis in Greece.

I have been intensively involved in street photography. I love great classic photographers like Bresson, Kertesz, Koudelka, Winogrand. Streets never lies and that’s what fascinates me. In street photography the ability to capture the unexpected is instinctive.

The people, the frames are out there, my role is to find a way to tell the story through my camera.

Born and Raised in Vermont. My father was a photographer and he taught me black and white film in middle school. I’m captivated by still landscapes. Winter seems to enhance the stillness of the rural VT landscape.

This is one of my “combination series” in which a piece of jewelry, in this case a brooch is a part of a painting. The Cardinal can be lifted from his perch and worn and then returned to the painting. Earning a BFA in Fine Arts at Syraucuse University, I have been living and working in Washington State for many years where we don’t see Cardinals like this east coast bird. He is an implant form my memories to the winter rose bush at my local post office.

I am an artist of long standing,; I have developed 6 portfolios of high quality work because I have worked with found objects in my sculpture, which is my primary medium, and while collecting objects I have had time to develop portfolios in drawing, oil painting on canvas,  reverse oil painting on glass, tapestry/fiber, collage and of course, sculpture. I have an extensive exhibition history- having shown my work in Italy, Garmany, and across the. USA,and on line. I’ve recently completed a group of small metal & wire sculptures during the Pandemic I call my “Pandemic Circus” that illustrates how trapped we all felt at this time….The work I’m offering for this exhibition is drawing done on special coated board called “Claybord” a relativly unforgiving material that allows the artist to experiment with texture as well as line in a black/white drawing. I live in NEW YOrk State,USA,and love the winter for drawing!
